By using GitHub Folder Downloader, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

The app helps users fetch and download selected files from GitHub repositories. File selection and ZIP generation are designed to occur in the browser.

3. Eligibility and lawful use

  • Use the app in compliance with applicable law and GitHub's terms.
  • Do not use the service for abuse, unauthorized access, or harmful automation.
  • Use the app only for repositories and data you are permitted to access.

4. Tokens and account security

  • You are responsible for protecting any token you provide.
  • Use least-privilege, read-only tokens whenever possible.
  • Rotate or revoke tokens if you suspect compromise.

5. Intellectual property and licenses

You are responsible for complying with repository licenses, copyright requirements, and other intellectual property obligations when downloading, reusing, or redistributing content.

6. Availability and changes

The service may be modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features may change without notice.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages related to use of the service.

9. Governing law and venue

Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law, these terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Vienna, Austria have non-exclusive jurisdiction for disputes related to these terms.

10. Third-party services and trademarks

GitHub APIs, Vercel hosting, and the Tally feedback form are used to operate this app. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. This project is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub. Do not submit tokens, credentials, private repository contents, or vulnerabilities through public feedback channels.
